KumaraAdditional Ideas for this post as well
+ Wall/wallpaper color variations
+ Berry bushes in flower pots
+ Tool mounts, like decorative wall mounts to place weapons/shields/tools on
+ Allow rails the option to snap to also bottom of a platform
+ Outdoor decor for around the houses other than just flowers, possibly some lore-based stone structures or mini stone structures of the spirits -

Antoine.GI agree I love building and I noticed some bug and thing that should be better.
-Houses doesnt snap to eachother. Make it hard to build a huge house without a corridor.
-Second floor doesnt have the option to make a floor for some reason.
-The annex floor only fit with the small house floor. If I put the annex into the medium sized house the floor design doesnt work.
-The roof is too thick. It does show into the next room if you manage to snap 2 houses together. -

prongs- stairs currently don't snap to pre-built enemy platforms, it'd be lovely if they did so we can more easily get up there for loot bags
- stairs also don't snap well to environmental cliffs/rocks. If I'm trying to build up to a ledge, it's currently better to place a platform in the ledge first and then build stairs down from it. The platform also snaps (from a center point?) into the ledge, but at least a walkable edge is left outside the rock. -

Zach100%, after playing for 1 night with my gf we have not figured out building (and we are survivalcraft veterans). Wall pieces can only fill an entire face of a frame, but sometimes you have staggered frames and only want to build a half-wall covering say the left side of the open frame face but not the right, if the 2 frames are not lined up perfectly.
From what I can tell so far, there just is not much room for creativity in building, because everything has to fit together in a boxy manner. Valheim to me is the gold-standard in building (and survivalcraft in general), and while every game doesn't need to mimic it, the building creativity its system allows is incredible.
Would be nice to have some triangular and rounded pieces to create differently shaped buildings too. -

little green clementineI would love a build camera function ("only in build mode, option for camera to detach from player character body with separate panning/zooming/movement controls, perhaps with some distance limits")

BeanieI want to put a big second on the camera topic. I am HUGE into decorating my builds and filling space. I often struggled to place things because my own character or armor would be in the way while looking up and down, and i had to build stairs often to place things nicely on shelves. A first person/free cam option within a spirit anchor would be fantastic!

MrauntheiasI would love more rotation angles. I want to place all the big spirit buildings in a wide arch shape, but the limited rotation angles make prettying it up difficult.

Jon MergedPlease make the building more friendly. Especially when trying to build with Free Placement. Things seem to not want to snap to existing objects.

YimGreat suggestions. Something that I think would also be nice is the option to make the grid smaller so we have more snapping points to place furniture and crafting benches.
Lets say you are in building mode. Then press a designated key so the standard grid gets divided by 2. So you get doubble the amount of snapping points and can place items more closer to other items.
If possible, make 2 or 3 options to change between grid size. -

KyleCorner roof options? I will build out some frames and then add some platforms or an annex for a lanai but I can put a roof over the space so it is just a corner that has no roof.

PorcelainTriangles? Triangles! (think Conan Exile's modular building stuff) I'd love to be able to build something other than squares/rectangles.
Customizable/modular roof pieces (nothing drives me more crazy than the way the clay roofs clip into other rooms/each other if you want to make a larger space with multiple roof pieces. -

StormvetUnder this aegis, how about when you enter the spirit anchor area, if you have the bull dog-frog built, he comes running to you with tail wagging needing pets on da head!!

Spider267Thanks Devs for your hard work! I just tried the game for the first time today and the building system was a let down for me. I know it has been updated but I would love more customization in terms of this grid system for crafting. I even found that there was issues with things even lining up for me with the grid system, maybe having a toggle to free place items for the more advanced users or just fix the current system

PixelOnly frustrating thing with the hight of the ceilings right now is the camera clips through very bad sometimes when trying to build or navigate. I dont know if its something I can fix on my end or not.
