  I like how Len's Island gives you a dog that collects resources you copy down/break or even helps you fight targeted enemies. They could even have their own health meter along with added benefits from food.

  Well some promotionnal content show the... uh... Pig-Shark ? The little quadruped you find in a corner of the main island in the Embrace. Well it is shown in a base so I suppose the idea of having pets is there somewhere.

  I've personally never gotten into the whole "pets" idea in game play. I like them if they have a purpose other than just following you around everywhere. But pets just to have pets never made sense to me. There is always a big desire for them in games though. I don't see a value to adding them to this game.

  Pets could give a buff of some kind by care actions at home. It would be cool if you could unlock better pets as you get higher in level for companionship while adventuring, like eventually a wolf that attacks lol! Or just stays at base to greet you when coming home. Chickens for eggs, Goats for milk etc..

  What a lot of games miss: Naming your pet and customizing it. Espacially naming it leads to so much emotional connection! <3
