  The pillars are great indeed. The thing is that they all have the same color. Even if they are place by another player.
  
  Is it possible to give every player a different light pillar color? Lets say P1 gets yellow. P2 light pillars get a green color and so on. That makes it easier to distinguish eachothers waypoints.

  Love the pillar of light that shows up when you tag, would like game to remember tags between plays and allow simple letter labels.

  I feel like this could be a knowledge point item, to add in the ability to show/hide the notes by the other echos (the glowy hand prints) and the column thingyies, so you don't have to try and remember which island you found them on already, and then another knowledge point to be able to ping a spot, so you (and your playmates) can see it on the compass so you can gather together,

  The right-click crosshairs on maps that create a vertical beacon stopped working for me with the Nov 4 update. No beacon.

  It would be extremely helpful to add a way to name the markers as well, or maybe have a selection of different types of markers showing a gem, rock, plant, etc.

  This is cool idea but seems to me more hassle then if you could have an option for zooming in on map and turning off and on SHOW discovered or collected resources .

  Check mark on the trial's icon when completed.
  Different icons and colors so we can pin resources locations or good base spots or whatever else we find important.
  Filter for all the icons.
  Mini map.
