More land animals / collectable deco pets
More Land Animals added to the empty landmasses.
They should be non aggressive.
A few Suggestions:
Chickens - they can be farmed for meat (maybe feathers). Nests with eggs,
feathers to upgrade any existing arrows to do slightly more damage or fly a slightly longer range
Snails - hardened shells: same spawns as mushrooms in caves
Mini pigs - can be farmed for meat, they drop more meat than all other Land animals,
(Mountain) Goats - can be found on higher grounds and farmed for meat and rare drop of hide,
Barnacles - drop similiar like crabs either shellfish or shells,
Tortoise - could drop a tortoise shell, which could be used as a shield between normal shell shield and tidemetal shield.
Iguana - drop meat orrare chance of dropping hide
Some form of critter - could just be catched and put in a little critter cage for decoration in your base
Frogs - same for frogs, making them a special catch to place in your base. Make them spawn in different colors so people can collect

Kiwis... little birds that scurry along the tide line, they run to cover if you approach, hiding in some plant fiber bushes. Clearing the bushes may reveal a small nest with some eggs.
Pelicrane: Big bird with a really sharp beak... if you approach it flaps its wings aggressively as a threat, and may turn hostile if you don't back off. Excellent Fencer, and loves eating crabs.
Moa Birds: The now extinct giant flightless birds of Oceania. Found in out of the way areas, and lay giant eggs.
Giant Tortoises: If you hurt them, you'll have to atone at the Earth Shrine before you can equip the Earth Spirit. If Earth Spirit is active, then they are protected like friendly fire. Munches grass, occasionally sheds a Scute, useful for Shields, Armor and maybe a turtle boat.
Humming Parrots: Bright birds that fly in, eat some berries and drop feathers. Much like the Tortoises, harming them upsets the Wind Spirit.
Tiderays: They attack Deep creatures, and as above ^
